2022
It’s been a roller coaster. We started the year laughing as a family seeing comedian Nate Bargatze. I caught a great Jason Isbell concert.
Shannon and I got Covid and February was a lost month we’d rather leave far, far, far in the rear view mirror.
Gabrielle started her senior year, gained a new job, her driver’s license, and got her wisdom teeth removed. Isabella completed a hard year of college, worked at Camp Illiana, started a new job as well, and began a media internship at our church.
We had a vacation that didn’t go as planned but made the best of it and had a great time with family. A niece’s wedding was a blast. A Braves win was among a fun family visit.
A huge project for me was our church’s Tell City Campus. The Executive Minister role started to dominate the Worship Minister role a bit more, but playing music is still an amazing thing and I promoted my first concert this year with my friends in Cochren & Co. I made over my office.
We got a new garage door.
Thanksgiving and Christmas with our extended families was a great finale.
It definitely wasn’t our favorite year, but, looking back, we can’t help but count our blessings.
